WINSCOMBE Youth Theatre will take audiences off to the magical land of Oz when it hits the stage on Saturday.

The theatre, which consists of 50 students aged four to 14, will perform We’re Off To Find The Wizard at Churchill Academy in Churchill Green on Saturday at 11am and 3pm.

The musical by John Butler, tells the story of how many years after the events in The Wizard Of Oz, Dorothy has a visit from the lion, the tin man and the scarecrow, who ask her to help them as the witch has imprisoned the wizard and turned all of Oz to ice.

Tickets, priced £6-8, are available from the Churchill Academy on 01934 852771 or The Conservatory Florist in Woodborough Road, Winscombe, on 842220.
