Chicago's newspapers love to dish the dirt and Velma has always been at the top of the headlines. But when Roxie comes along Velma begins to slip out of the limelight and become old news. The two women find themselves competing for not only the press' attention, but also the focus of their shared lawyer, the sharp and suave Billy Flynn. The kiss-and-tell stories of the two women follow in musical fashion.Chicago will be staged at the Hippodrome, Bristol, from July 3-14.
