MORE than 80 youngsters from Weston and the surrounding areas will perform Cliff Richard’s classic musical Summer Holiday at The Playhouse.

Brought to the stage by Loganwest productions, the show is based on the 1963 movie which starred Cliff and followed the life of a London bachelor boy and his three friends leaving the city for a summer holiday.

The group plan a trip to Europe and their experiences and shenanigans along the way promise to offer the audience laughs even after they have left the theatre.

Suitable for all ages, the show features a string of 1960s hits including The Young Ones, Foot Tapper, In The Country, Bachelor Boy, Do Ya Wanna Dance and Summer Holiday.

With the emphasis firmly on uplifting music, big dance numbers, light storyline and a finale that will get everyone out of their seats, Summer Holiday is promised to be a memorable show.

The show will take place at The Playhouse from August 16-18 at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on August 18. Tickets, priced £11-14.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
