HENRIK Ibsen's Ghosts will be performed at the Bristol Old Vic from January 26-February 17.A new adaptation by acclaimed Irish playwright Frank McGuinness, the play was originally banned when first staged due to the outrage it caused.The story unfolds of a son returning home to pay tribute to his late father. His mother has hidden secrets from the family for years but, unable to bottle up her guilt any longer, feels it necessary to unburden herself.
