The T Birds and Pink Ladies will be heading to Bristol and they will be bringing all the fun of the 1950s with them.

The 1978 musical film was a worldwide hit as people fell in love with the romantic story of Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson as they go through life at Rydell High School.

Tom Parker from boy band, The Wanted, is taking on his first theatrical role as Danny and he will be joined by Danielle Hope – who won the BBC’s Over The Rainbow – as Sandy.

But the star-studded cast does not end there, as Louisa Lytton – known for EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing – will play Rizzo.

Grease will be at Bristol Hippodrome, in St Augustines Parade, from June 5-10. There will be performances at 7.30pm from June 5-8, 17.30pm and 8.30pm on June 9, and 5pm and 8.30pm on June 10.

Tickets, priced £21-51.50, are available via www.atgtickets.com or on 08448 717627.
