A story of two lovers is told in a new way in one of Bristol's most iconic and exclusive locations.

The son of Apollo, a Greek god, falls head over heels in love with Eurydice, a beautiful and graceful young woman, and is insistent on making her his wife.

However, disaster strikes when Hymen, the Greek god of marriage, arrives to bless the marriage and sees nothing but sadness in their future.

Insane Root are the first theatre company to perform in the suspension bridge vaults and promise to bring an incredible show.

With a cast of only four actors, the production will utilise the atmosphere of the vaults with live music and lighting to present an unmissable show.

Orpheus and Eurydice will be at the Clifton Suspension Bridge Vaults, in Bridge Road, at 1pm on March 8-10, at 4pm on March 8 and 2pm on March 9.

Tickets, priced £21.83, are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk
