A NEW theatrical adaptation of a top Disney Channel movie arrives at the Bristol Hippodrome next month.

From the producers of the smash hit tour of High School Musical Live On Stage! and based on the phenomenally successful film, High School Musical 2 will be wowing audiences from February 8-13.

The show contains classic songs from the chart-topping sequel's soundtrack, including What Time Is it?, You Are The Music In Me and Fabulous.

School's out and the Wildcats are diving into the fabulous world of Lava Springs Country Club as the East High Wildcats need summer jobs.

Troy, Gabriella, Taylor and Chad all land work at this exclusive country club but it's not going to be an easy ride as Ryan and Sharpay are vacationing there too and plan on having some fun of their own.

As it turns out their family owns the club, the scheming siblings make it their mission to stir things up for the friends.

The action builds up to the country club's all important Midsummer Night's Talent Show, but will the Wildcats be ready in time? Will Troy duet with Sharpay or Gabriella? Will Ryan finally realise his sister's true motives and will squabbles, double-crossing and a baseball tournament stand in the way of their performances and ultimately their friendships?

Sharpay vows to win Troy's heart this summer but will she be able to come between the East High basketball star and his true love Gabriella? Can Ryan find a new groove on the baseball field? Will the gang come together for the Midsummer Night's Talent Show?

High School Musical 2 Live on Stage! stars funnyman Les Dennis as Mr Fulton and GMTV Search For Troy winner Liam Doyle.

Enjoy all the songs from the world-class movie, as well as some awesome dancing and an amazing live band.

The summer before senior year is a time that the Wildcats will remember forever - so be part of it.

The production is directed by Jeff Calhoun, whose credits include the award-winning Broadway revivals of Grease and Big River and the US and UK stage versions of High School Musical Live On Stage.
