Comedy favourites Jeffrey Holland and Nichola McAuliffe join forces in a brand new play based on a hit BBC sitcom.
Waiting For God follows the lives of Diana Trent (played by McAuliffe) and Tom Ballard (played by Holland) who conspire to give the conniving manager at their retirement home his comeuppance.
The original BBC sitcom delighted television audiences in the 1990s, running for five series and winning rave reviews for the performances of its lead actors Stephanie Cole and Graham Cowden.
The newly re-imagined show features all the favourite characters from the original series as they face the challenges which come with growing old disgracefully in the era of the silver surfer.
Waiting For God will be at the Theatre Royal Bath, in Sawclose, from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday, which performances scheduled at 8pm each night, with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.
Tickets, priced £19.50-35.50, are available from www.theatreroyal.org.uk or online via 01225 448844.
