THE epic true story The Diary Of Anne Frank will be brought to life on stage in Bath this month.

Set during World War Two, this inspiring play about freedom, imagination and bravery stars Christopher Timothy, Sally Oliver, Kerry Peers, Steven Pinder and Amy Dawson.

Directed by Nikolai Foster the production marks the 60th anniversary of the diary’s publication in English and evokes all of the sentiments of the original diary and includes material originally censored by Otto Frank.

In this powerful stage adaptation, Anne Frank emerges from history as a gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly-changing life and the horror of her time with honesty, wit and determination.

This retelling of one of the most inspiring accounts of love and survival will be at the Theatre Royal Bath from May 14-19 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £16.50-32.50, are available from the box office on 01225 448844.
