YOUNGSTERS are being given the chance to star alongside Mowgli the man cub, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther.The musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic story The Jungle Book will be staged at The Playhouse, Weston, from February 22-24 and Bruce James Productions is inviting talented youngsters to attend an audition for the show.Producer Bruce James said: "We are looking for boys and girls aged eight and over. They need to have lots of energy and enthusiasm and be able to sing and dance."The audition, which should not last more than two-and-a-half hours, will be held in the ballroom at the Winter Gardens on Sunday at 2pm. The organisers are advising those who attend to wear comfortable clothing and bring dancing shoes or plimsolls.
