A CELEBRATION of the sweet sound of Motown music is back in Weston by popular demand.
Now in its ninth successive year, this stunning live show, Motown’s Greatest Hits, How Sweet It Is, will be staged at The Playhouse in High Street.
The show combines first class music together with the slickest choreography and an amazing band to deliver truly outstanding performances.
More than 50 golden years of Motown music are remembered, featuring songs from legendary artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson Five, The Isley Brothers and many more.
This hip shaking show is on at 7.30pm on July 8 and is bound to have everyone dancing.
The show celebrates and recreates all the wonderful vibes and music that originated in Detroit in the 1950s, and in particular music from The Four Tops and The Temptations.
Motown’s Greatest Hits, How Sweet It Is, takes you on a musical journey through the golden Tamla Motown days of the 1960s and 1970s.
The talented performers are backed and supported by their own superb musicians – The Peter Brent Orchestra, a powerhouse band, and all under the musical direction of Peter Brent.
The show is tipped to be an all action packed extravaganza, and is guaranteed to have everyone singing and dancing in the aisles.
