AN EVENING of light-hearted entertainment is in store in Weston this weekend.Worle Operatic Society will stage Variety at The Blakehay, Wadham Street, Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm.The group's annual Spring and summer show will feature a musical mix including songs from the shows, operatic pieces and even a harmony piece based on the theme tunes from TV comedy shows such as Blackadder, Red Dwarf and the Vicar Of Dibley.One of the main sections of the show will be based on the musical Les Miserables and on a different note there will be a melody of Beach Boys songs.Tickets, priced £6 are available on 01934 645493 or on the door on the night.
