A CLASSIC Gilbert and Sullivan opera will delight audiences in Bath this coming week.Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society will present Iolanthe at the Theatre Royal.The award-winning production will be staged from Tuesday until April 1.Iolanthe combines political satire, fantasy and fact with one of Arthur Sullivan's most beautiful scores.The tale follows a fairy who is banished for falling in love with a mortal. It is packed with well-known songs and has a heart-warming plot.Director and choreographer Alan Spencer last worked with Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society on The Mikado, staged at the Theatre Royal in 2003Tickets, priced £12-24, are available from the box office on 01225 448844.
