A CLASSIC John Milton epic will be staged in Bath next week.The Oxford Stage Company will present Paradise Lost to audiences at the Theatre Royal from Tuesday until June 17.The thrilling new adaptation is based on one of the greatest poems in the English language.Defeated in battle and exiled from heaven, Satan burns in a lake of fire with his army of rebels around him. Consumed with envy he plots his revenge and, once out of hell, tricks his way to tempting Eve and seducing humanity.Jasper Britton (The Royal, Murder In Mind) plays the role of Satan while Christian Bradley (Romans In Britain) plays Adam and Vinette Robinson (Speaking Like Magpies) takes on the role of Eve.Tickets, priced £13.50-28.50, are available from the box office on 01225 448844.
