ACTRESS, singer and author Patricia Routledge will be discussing her life in musical theatre with Edward Seckerson at Weston’s Playhouse later this month.

Patricia Routledge trained not only as an actress but also as a singer and has performed in various musical theatre productions across the globe.

In 1992 she played Nettie Fowler in the acclaimed production of Carousel at the National Theatre and now she will be recounting this part of her career in Weston.

Writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson has written and presented BBC Radio 3’s Stage And Screen show and interviewed some of the biggest names in showbiz, including Julie Andrews, Angela Lansbury and Liza Minnelli.

Now he will be finding out some of the secrets of Patricia Routledge’s career as the pair converse on stage in Weston.

Facing The Music: A Life In Musical Theatre With Patricia Routledge In Conversation With Edward Seckerson will be at The Playhouse in High Street on July 26 from 3pm.
