Archant

IT IS a glorious thing to be a Pirate King according to this talented crop of young actors who will perform in The Pirates Of Penzance next week.

Members of The Oppitts, part of Weston Operatic Society, have donned bandanas, stripes and peg legs as part of their latest production, which will be held in St Jude’s Hall in Milton.

The show has been directed and choreographed by Sue Collings and Sam Payne, with help from musical director Annie Doswell.

The Pirates Of Penzance will be at the theatre from Wednesday to May 31 at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee showing at 3pm.

Tickets, priced £7-8.50, with family tickets priced £27.50, are available by calling 01934 420006 or via tickets@westonoperatic.org.uk
