Pirates descend on Theatre Royal Bath

AN ALL-MALE staging of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates Of Penzance is appearing at the Theatre Royal Bath.
The swashbuckling operetta tells the tale of Frederic, in a musical comedy about mistaken identity, pirates, policemen, romance and the demands of duty.
The show first opened in 1879 and was an immediate triumph for Gilbert and Sullivan, and remains a favourite with audiences to this day.
The Pirates Of Penzance is at the Theatre Royal Bath from today (Thursday) to Saturday at 8pm. There is a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
