PUPPETRY, enchanting music and humour bring a thrilling Nordic fairy tale to life in The Girl With The Iron Claws.

An inventive take on a Nordic myth known as The White Bear King, it shares its roots with Beauty And The Beast, but is packed full of mysterious twists.

At its heart is the king’s daughter, who has always felt like a misfit.

A chance encounter with a white bear sets her off on a path full of surprises she could never have anticipated.

The Girl With The Iron Claws debuted at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews.

It is appearing at the egg theatre, Bath, from June 29-30.

Tickets, priced £5.50-£7, are available by calling 01225 823409 or via www.theatreroyal.org.uk
