A CONTEMPORARY comedy will be staged at The Playhouse, Weston, in August.Actors from Bruce James Productions will star in Relatively Speaking from August 16-19.The play was Alan Ayckbourn's first West End comedy and is the second of four summer repertory season productions from the company.The story begins when Greg wakes up in his girlfriend Ginny's bed to find another man's footwear at his feet. Bouquets of flowers and boxes of chocolates arriving make matters even worse.Greg then decides to travel to an address in Buckinghamshire where he wants to surprise Ginny and her mum and dad.But when Greg mistakes Ginny's older ex-lover and his wife for Ginny's parents an hilarious tale unravels.Originally written to cheer up Scarborough holidaymakers on wet afternoons, Relatively Speaking never fails to get audiences giggling.Tickets, priced £9-12.50, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
