MUSIC and memories will combine for an unforgettable afternoon of sing-a-long favourites at The Playhouse, Weston, on July 29.Roll Out The Barrel is an up-lifting musical trip down memory lane featuring a treasure chest of old-time favourites that will have audiences singing along from beginning to end.Starting at 2.30pm, Roll Out The Barrel features over two hours of live entertainment and audience participation taking in music hall melodies, show songs, cockney sing-a-longs, songs from two World Wars, plus the popular hits of Flanagan and Allen.Well-known songs such as Down At The Old Bull And Bush, Who Were You With Last Night and When You're Smiling appear alongside Singing In The Rain, Lambeth Walk and Leaning On a Lamp Post. In addition to leading the singing, hosts Terry Bradford and Sussie Arvesen also dress in period costumes, and songsheets are available to buy to enable everyone to join in the fun.Tickets, priced £11.50 or £9.50 for concessions, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
