A SHOWCASE of singing, dancing and comedy will be packed into a fun-filled night billed as Somerset’s Got Talent.

The Blakehay Theatre has teamed up with The National Animal Welfare Trust to present the audience with a one-night-only entertainment show on August 23.

The theatre in Wadham Street is looking for people to perform with a chance to win a top prize of £100 or runner-up prize of £50. Entry is £5 per act, and to become part of the show simply register at the theatre on the day between noon and 3pm.

There will be an opportunity to rehearse at the venue between 3-5pm and performances of the registered acts will take place from 6.30pm onwards.

The judging panel will be made up of mystery guests, but if you would prefer to be part of the audience, tickets, priced £3-6, are available from the box office on 01934 645493.

All the money raised through the show will go to the animal charity.
