MADCAP comedian Freddie Starr returns to Weston's Playhouse in August with his familiar brand of mayhem.Freddie has been entertaining fans since his early brushes with fame in Hamburg alongside The Beatles back in the sixties.His first big break was in 1970 when he was invited to appear at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance. Such was his talent that he was the first act in 47 years to be allowed an encore. As well as his success in comedy, Freddie is an accomplished actor, ballad singer and impressionist.The timeless comic will be remembered forever after The Sun headline 'Freddie Starr ate my hamster'.His current tour has been described as a sell-out, so early booking is advised. Freddie will be appearing at the Playhouse on August 7-8 at 7.30pm.
