ROBIN Hood will be taking from the rich and giving to the poor in Cheddar's annual pantomime.

The show will be put on by Starr, which raises money for St Andrew’s Church in Cheddar.

Starr formed in 1988 to put on a one-off pantomime for an appeal to fix the church’s roof.

Since then, it has performed a new show every year, and this year’s features the heroic outlaw.

The show will be performed at Church House in Wells Road on January 28-31 at 7.30pm.

There will also be a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday.

Tickets, priced £3.50-7.50, are available from Deane & Sons Of Cheddar in Bath Street.
