Sweets for a lady

WESTON Operatic Society is gearing up to stage a classic tale next week.
In the musical My Fair Lady, Professor Higgins tries to persuade flowergirl Eliza Doolitle to speak properly by bribing her with mouth-watering chocolates.
When the society decided on this show for its next production at The Playhouse, it had only one person in mind for supplying the sweet-tasting temptation.
Congresbury confectioner Lisa Clarke was so obsessed with perfecting her signature handmade chocolate cup pudding that it led to her launching a chocolate cookery school.
The Chocolate Tart started in May 2007 and is situated in a picturesque courtyard setting tucked away in Kent Road.
My Fair Lady will be staged at The Playhouse in Weston, from October 27-30 and Lisa will be supplying the chocolate.
