Take a stroll down Avenue Q

AN AWARD-WINNING West End comedy will be staged in Bath next week - with a little help from a group of puppets.
Avenue Q returns to the Theatre Royal from Tuesday until February 5.
The production enjoyed enormous success, both on Broadway and in London, proving to be the perfect, contemporary musical with its combination of mischief, bad behaviour and political incorrectness.
When Avenue Q appeared at the Theatre Royal last February, Bath was the first destination following five years in the West End, and the show continued to delight audiences all over the country on its first ever national tour.
Witty, rude and extremely funny, Avenue Q ingeniously combines a cast of hugely-talented performers and puppets in an hilarious musical about the lively and off-the-wall characters on a downtown New York street who are trying to make sense of life’s burning issues: love, work, relationships, and, above all, just how are you supposed to pay the bills with a BA in English?
Tickets, priced £15-35.50, are available from the box office on 01225 448844 or online at www.theatreroyal.org.uk
