Cult classic comedy The League of Gentlemen is returning for a stage tour for the first time in more than 12 years, including two dates in Weston.
The comedy, written by Mark Gatiss, Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Jeremy Dyson, ran from 1999-2002 on BBC Two.
It returned at Christmas last year, with the four writers playing a host of bizarre characters.
They said: “The League of Gentlemen started as a live show more than 20 years ago and in many ways performing in front of an audience gives us the biggest thrill of all.
“We’re overjoyed to be taking the citizens of Royston Vasey on a road-trip and can’t wait to see all the wonderful local places in our increasingly local country.”
The League of Gentlemen will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, on August 8 and 9 at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £37, are available from 01934 645544 and online at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
