The masters of the West End visit Weston

AUDIENCES in Weston will get the chance to join the cream of West End performers when The Masters Of The House visits the Playhouse Theatre.
During its 13 years of performing, the leading musical theatre show has built a reputation for superb vocals delivered by some of the leading theatre artists of today.
This new musical feast features former stars from Les Miserables, Evita and Phantom Of The Opera and will perform next month.
The two-hour show is constantly being updated with songs selected from more than eight decades of popular musical theatre, including favourites such as Last Night Of The World from Miss Saigon, Climb Ev’ry Mountain from The Sound Of Music, Tell Me It’s Not True from Blood Brothers and show medleys culminating in their unique Les Misérables finale.
Producer Jack Applebaum, said: “Having seen many musical concerts over the years featuring singers who could only aspire to sing in the west end, I was determined this show would only feature singers who had actually appeared in the West End.
“I could not let Masters be just another run of the mill tribute to the musicals, so I set out to assemble a cast of singers and musicians that was second to none.”
From the opening chords of the overture, the audience are whisked off on a whistle stop tour highlighting the very best from the world of musical theatre.
The Masters of The House will be at The Playhouse on February 2 at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £15.50-17.50, are available at the box office on 01934 645544 or via www.theplayhouse.co.uk
