A new play will be staged at Theatre In The Hut this Christmas.

An original production from Wayfarers Drama Group, The Pirates of Birnbeck Pier follows Captain Morgan and his band of pirates as they journey around Weston in search of lost treasure.

Rumour has it, the treasure was stolen by a rival pirate gang.

This leads Captain Morgan, along with his mischievous pet monkey and parrot, to embark on a dangerous quest to retrieve it, battling evil pirates and woodland fairies along the way.

The Pirates Of Birnbeck Pier combines song, dance and pantomime in a production which is suitable for young and old audiences alike.

Scripted by John Butler, the play stars

The play will take place at Theatre In The Hut at 7.30pm on December 4 and 8.

Tickets, priced £10, are available at www.wayfarersdrama.org.uk or by calling 07493940967.
