THE play that inspired a hit film in the 90s will be staged in Bath next week.Trainspotting, the film version of which starred Ewan Macgregor and Robert Carlyle, will be performed at the Theatre Royal from May 22-27.After an absence of 10 years, Trainspotting will visit Bath as part of its 10th anniversary tour.Irvine Welsh's black tale introduced audiences to the highs and lows of the life of a trainspotter. Trainspotting takes audiences on a drug-fuelled rollercoaster ride through Edinburgh.The play stars Brian Alexander (Taggart, Casualty, Soldier Soldier), Laura Harvey (Taggart, River City, Heartless), Peter Milne (Tonight's The Night) and Ruaraidh Murray (Mile High, Sea Of Souls, Lenny Blue, Sword Of Honour, Dalziel and Pascoe).
