A village amateur dramatic group will take to the stage next week for a two-night stint performing a comedy show.

Banwell Amateur Dramatics will perform Another Double Dose at Banwell Village Hall, in Westfield Crescent, from June 23-24 at 7.45pm.

The production is made up of a one-act play called Lending A Hand and a radio play called He Said She Said, which uses no visual aspect at all – instead telling a story through sound.

The am-dram group has built an excellent reputation over a number of years, regularly delivering hilarious stage performances which delight residents.

The show is the follow up to Double Dose, a two-night comedy production which the group performed last year and earned rave reviews from villagers.

The bar at the village hall will be open at 7pm before the curtain rolls back at 7.45pm.

Tickets for the show, priced £5, are available from Banwell News, in West Street, or from Sue Atkinson on 07737 176239.
