It is an uplifting musical based on the 2010 film of the same name.

Set in 1968, it tells the true and passionate story of Rita O'Grady, played by Holly Gibson, who works as a machinist in the Ford factory in Dagenham.

Rita leads her friends in a battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the union in order to get equal pay for women.

The girls' inspiring story gets bigger than they could have ever imagined, reaching parliament and changing history forever.

Tickets, priced £6-8, are available at www.blakehaytheatre.co.uk or on 01934 645493.
