WESTON Operatic Society will be taking The Playhouse by storm with its adaptation of a 1930s musical.

Crazy For You is based on the original show Girl Crazy. This extravaganza is filled with song, fabulous dance numbers and high-energy comedy, including a case of mistaken identity, and plot twists all set to classic Gershwin music.

You will be swept up in a tale of boy-meets-girl in the Wild West where they manage to spread peace and ultimately fall in love.

Along the way you will enjoy some of the best musical numbers the Gershwins have to offer.

The show will run at the High Street venue from October 29-31 at 7.30pm with matinee performances at 2.30pm on October 29 and 31.

Tickets, priced £15 for matinee and £17 for evenings, are available from The Playhouse box office on 01934 645544 or from the website www.theplayhouse.co.uk

The Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer three lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show.
