A MUSICAL telling the story of two notorious criminals on the run is being performed at The Blakehay in Weston.

When car trouble brings Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow together, they immediately fall in love.

She is a young waitress with ambitions of becoming a film star and he is a car-loving small-time crook.

Clyde and his brother Buck have been in and out of jail for years, and as their robberies get more high-profile, they become known as the Barrow Gang.

When Bonnie joins them, their crimes escalate from robbery to murder and the lovers on the run make national headlines.

It is being produced by Sunshine Productions, which brought The Addams Family to The Blakehay last year.

The show will be at the Blakehay Theatre on February 18-21 at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee performance on February 21.

Tickets, priced £10-14, are available from the box office on 01934 645493 or online at www.blakehaytheatre.co.uk

The Mercury has teamed up with Sunshine Productions to offer five pairs of tickets to the show on February 18.
