The tale of Frankenstein is given a humourous edge in Living Spit's show at Weston-super-Mare's Tropicana.

The Somerset-based production duo are renowned for their adaptations of historical and literary works and will now take on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

The show is a hilarious take on the horror story and will be filled with comedy, puppetry and music from a live band.

Frankenstein will be at The Tropicana, in Marine Parade, from November 12-20.

Shows run at 7.30pm each evening and at 2.30pm on November 13, 19 and 20. Tickets, priced £12-14, are available via www.tobaccofactorytheatres.com or 01179 020344.

The Mercury has teamed up with The Tropicana to offer five readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show at 2.30pm or 7.30pm on November 13.

The competition will close at 10am on October 21. Usual rules apply.
