The Pixies' Scarf.

A children’s story of a fantasy world which features pixies, clowns and a magic scarf will be told on a Weston-super-Mare stage later this month by an expert team of puppeteers.

The Pixies’ Scarf will star on stage at Theatre Tropicana, in Marine Parade from May 31 to June 1 at 11am.

The show follows young Dicky Bundle. While out picking delicious whortleberries with his grandmother, Dicky stumbles upon a magical scarf that opens the door to a bizarre yet beautiful world.

The mysterious realm is home to pixies who are reluctant to share their secrets with Dicky and who want to retrieve the magical scarf.

But young Dicky is desperate to keep hold of the powerful garment, and the secrets it holds.

That means Dicky finds himself on a mission to strike a deal with the Queen of the pixies or he will lose the scarf forever, and meets plenty of colourful characters along the way.

The show is produced by the Soap Soup theatre company, which expertly blends top-quality puppetry and clowns with quirky stories, engaging props and interesting music to make for excellent children’s plays that will not be forgotten in a hurry.

The Pixies’ Scarf is suitable from children aged three to eight, and runs for approximately 50 minutes.

Tickets for this show, priced £7 or £25 for a family of four, are available from 01179 020344 or online via
