A popular children’s book is brought to life before the audiences’ very eyes in a new stage show at one of

The Tiger Who Came To Tea, written by Judith Kerr, follows Sophie and her mum who are enjoying tea when the doorbell rings – only to find a big, hungry, stripy tiger.

The play has been adapted by one of the country’s leading writers and directors David Wood, who has previously worked on The Gingerbread Man, BFG and Meg And Mog.

The Tiger Who Came To Tea will be at The Playhouse, in High Street, from May 12-13.

There will be performances at 1.30pm and 4.30pm on May 12 and 11am and 2pm on May 13.
