One of North Somerset’s most popular comedy duos will be performing in Weston this month.

The Fabulous Bacon Boys by Living Spit will be at Theatre Tropicana in Marine Parade on June 19.

Told exclusively through rhyme and song, the show is a spoof on classic fairytale The Three Little Pigs.

Bacon Construction, a family business specialising in an exclusive range of houses made of straw, wood and brick, face opposition from the rowdy residents of Little-Muckle-in-the-Wold.

Just as they think life cannot get any more difficult, they must also face a visit from Miss Wolf the planning inspector.

Living Spit – a double act featuring Howard Coggins and Stu McLoughlin – will also take another of its hilarious shows to Theatre Tropicana next month.

Tortoise Vs Hare will be performed at the seafront venue on July 3.

Fit and popular running champion Barry Hare comes up against the chilled out, doughnut-loving Toby ‘Tortoise’ Gollop in a race.

Based on the much-loved fable, Living Spit’s side-splitting spin is a tale of romance, redemption and rivalry.

The Fabulous Bacon Boys will begin at Theatre Tropicana at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced, £10, are available online while there is a 10 per cent discount for anyone who books at The Bay Café.

The Mercury and Theatre Orchard have teamed up to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to see The Fabulous Bacon Boys.
