WEST Country food, cider and music will be on offer when the West Croft Festival showcases the best the region has to offer later this month.

Award-winning Somerset producers and some prominent performers will be heading to the festival for a day of great food, cider and fresh tunes.

The festival, held in West Croft Farm, Brent Knoll, will include music from local artists Ryan Inglis, Mark Ely and duo Georgia and Nikon.

Weston singer Ryan has a bit of a mixed bag to offer when it comes to genres and techniques. He will be bringing his unique vocal sound, some original pieces and his exciting percussive style to the festival as part of the evening entertainment.

Mark Ely, the writer and lead singer of popular band Eastertown, will also be performing his own songs as a solo artist on the night. If you enjoy emotionally charged original music, then Mark will play the perfect set.

In addition to these big local names, teenagers Georgia and Nikon, from Weston, will also perform a selection of duet and solo pieces. Both 15 years old, the singer-songwriters will display a wide range of music including blues, jazz, folk and pop.

To get you ready for these amazing acts the festival will also host a huge selection of Somerset producers and products, including Brent Knoll based Dotty Daisy Floral Design, award-winning cider Janet’s Jungle Juice, Coco Bella, The Sausage Shed and Let’s Celebrate Cakes By Alison.

The festival will also host Weston’s Food Den, which will supply some of its best local produce, and Jo’s Rollertoaster will bring her 1969 mini caravan to the event to supply a British favourite – cheese on toast.

The West Croft Festival will be held on June 30 at the farm in Brent Street, Brent Knoll.

The produce fair will take place from 10am to 3pm, with free entry, and the evening entertainment will start at 7pm. Tickets for the this part of the festival, priced £10, are available from 01934 750948 or via www.westcroft fest.co.uk
