Prehistoric creatures will be brought to life in Weston-super-Mare next month for a day jam-packed with fun and activities making it the perfect day out for young dinosaur enthusiasts.
The Grand Pier, in Marine Parade, is hosting Kidsfest – Dinosaur Takeover, on July 8 at 11am.
The pier will be transformed into a world of giant creatures, full of fun for all the family
The headline act at the event is dinosaur expert Andy Day, who will take guests back in time with his knowledge of the fearsome beasts and dinosaur-related raps.
Children will have the chance to get up close and personal with life-like dinosaurs and pose for pictures – while people who crack a trail of puzzles could be in with a chance of winning a prize.
There will be plenty of engaging activities to keep children entertained, including face-painting, balloon modelling, giant Jenga and a bouncy castle.
Guests will also be entitled to unlimited rides at the pier, meaning you can try some of its high-octane thrills and classic games if you can find a spare five minutes between the dinosaur activities.
Andy Day will perform shows at noon and 2pm, and guests must choose which show they would like to attend when buying tickets.
Tickets for this event, priced £15, are available from 01934 620238 or online via www.grandpier.co.uk/whats-on
