The Met Office has today (Friday) issued a yellow weather warning for rain and wind, with Weston-super-Mare at risk of flooding due to torrential rain and wind being forecast.
Thunderstorms have been predicted for Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset later this week.
Heavy rain is due to fall this afternoon and evening (Tuesday) and the ambulance service is warning drivers to take extra care on North Somerset’s roads.
